CUBS WIN A NAILBITER OVER BRYAN 55-54

The Brenham Cub Basketball Team won a close game over the Bryan Vikings 55-54 last (Tuesday) night at the Brenham High School Gym.

Issac Powell led the Cubs with 21 points and eight rebounds. JaKobe Mathis chipped in with nine points and four rebounds. Chris Guidry added eight points and four rebounds.

With the win, Brenham improves to 9-1 on the season.

Next up, the Cubs will be taking part in the Mike Dacus Classic, which is being hosted by Navasota High School.

Tomorrow (Thursday), they are going to open the tournament against Hamshire-Fannett at 11am, and then face Giddings at 2pm. Brenham will then face Huffman at 2pm on Friday, and finish up against Baytown Lee on Saturday at 1:45pm.
