Just before 2 p.m., Fayette County Sheriff’s Drug Interdiction Sergeant Randy Thumann and K-9 Kolt stopped a 2014 Ford truck pulling a utility trailer on I-10 eastbound at the 671 mile marker, near Schulenburg, for a traffic violation.

Sgt. Thumann approached the vehicle, which was occupied by three individuals.  Upon contact with the driver, Sgt. Thumann, assisted by Deputy Herman Olvera, reported observing criminal indicators and received consent to search the truck and trailer.

A search of the trailer led to the discovery of three concealed bundles of cocaine in decorative water fountains.

The three men, identified as 24-year-old Pablo Antonio, 37-year-old Rixco Terrablanco and 25-year-old Javier Huapillam-Martinez, were arrested and charged with Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.  They were taken to the Dan R. Beck Justice Center.
