FRANKLIN MAN ARRESTED WEDNESDAY

A Franklin man was arrested Wednesday on multiple charges.
Brenham Police report that Wednesday evening at 7:15, Officer Nicolas Conforti conducted a traffic stop in the 900 Block of 290 West. A probable cause search was conducted and the operator of the vehicle, David Richard Groves, 28 of Franklin, was taken into custody for Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz, and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. He was booked into the Washington County Jail.
