ONE TRANSPORTED AFTER VEHICLE HITS TRAILER
One person was transported for treatment after an accident Friday afternoon in Brenham.
The Brenham Fire Department responded at 5:30 p.m. to Independence Street and East Blue Bell Road for a crash with entrapment. Firefighters arrived and found an SUV with heavy damage to the front of the vehicle, but no one was entrapped.
Interim Assistant Fire Chief Brett Schroeder said the SUV hit the side of a trailer. Schroeder said there was no damage to the trailer. The department secured the scene and used dry absorbent on fluids spilled.
The driver of the SUV, who was the lone occupant, was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
