THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED SUNDAY
Three people were arrested Sunday in separate incidences by Brenham Police.
They report that Sunday morning at 11:50, Officer Eric Crosby conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle violation in the 1300 block of Prairie Lea Street. Investigation revealed the driver, Amaris Dominguez, 32 of Austin, was found to be in Possession of Marijuana. She was taken into custody for Possession Marijuana less than 2 oz. and transported to the Washington County Jail.
Then Sunday afternoon at 1:50, Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Highway 290 West in reference to a Hit and Run. Initial investigation revealed the victim was traveling through the intersection of Highway 36 South and Highway 290 West when another vehicle failed to stop at a red light striking the victim’s vehicle. The suspect vehicle, described as being a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup, failed to stop and provide any information. Incident is currently under investigation and if anyone has information to contact the Brenham Police Department at 979-337-7337.
Then Sunday evening at 6:20, Officers responded to the 200 block of South Blue Bell Road in reference to an intoxicated person. Investigation revealed Aldonia Johnson, 57 of Brenham, to have an active warrant for violation of parole. Johnson was issued a Criminal Trespass Warning for the location and taken into custody.
Then Sunday night at 10:55, Officer Grayson Marburger conducted a traffic stop at the 1800 block of Highway 290 West. Upon further investigation, it was found that the front seat passenger identified as Marvin Eduardo Requena Cornelio, 36 of San Antonio, to have an active warrant for his arrest for Indecency with a Child – Contact issued out of Bexar County. Cornelio was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
