BRENHAM HIGH SCHOOL MCJROTC PLACES HIGH AT TRAVIS DRILL MEET
The Brenham High School Marine Corps Junior ROTC had a strong showing over the weekend at the Travis High School Drill Meet.
Fifteen schools participated in the meet, and Brenham placed first or second place in all drill events. Brenham was the overall champion in Unarmed Drill and second place in Armed Drill.
Jackie Salinas was recognized as Best Unarmed Color Guard Commander. Schoenstatt Rodriguez earned the title of Best Unarmed Regulation Commander.
The MCJROTC will next host the 10th Annual Brenham Drill Meet on January 13th.
Cadets are also selling Cub Cards, raising money for the program to assist with travel costs and equipment purchases. The cards offer discounts at local businesses and are good throughout 2024. Cards are $20. A full list of participating businesses can be seen at www.brenhamisd.net.
