CUBS EXTEND WIN STREAK TO SIX BY BEATING NAVASOTA

The Brenham Cub Basketball Team continued their winning ways last (Tuesday) night with a 63-45 road win over the Navasota Rattlers.

Issac Powell led Brenham in scoring with 17 points, and he also had five rebounds.

Elijah Ferguson added 15 points.

JaKobe Mathis had nine points, and led the Cubs in rebounds with ten.

Diego Estrada hit three out of four of his 3-pointers to finish with nine points.

With the victory, Brenham is now on a six-game winning streak. They also improved their record to 14-1 on the season.

Next up, the Cubs will open district play this Friday night. They are hosting Bryan Rudder at the Brenham High School Gym beginning at 6:30pm.
