SEVEN PEOPLE ARRESTED SUNDAY

Seven people were arrested by the Brenham Police Department Sunday.

They report that early Sunday morning at 12:10, Officer Myles Masters observed a vehicle occupied by three male subjects parked in the parking lot of a business located in the 800 block of Highway 290 East. Masters noticed an odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle and made contact with the occupants. Initial investigation revealed three subjects, 2 adults and 1 juvenile, in the vehicle were in possession of marijuana; Xavier Alexander Graciano, 17 of Brenham, was in possession of marijuana and a THC Vape and Adrian Matthew Powell, 17 of Brenham, was in possession of marijuana. Graciano was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Powell was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. The juvenile was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. and released to a guardian.

Then Sunday morning at 10:45, Corporal Tina Bruno conducted a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Highway 290 West for a traffic violation. During a probable cause search on the vehicle, narcotics and a handgun were located. The driver, Marshall Tomas Morris, 30 of Baytown, was placed under arrest for Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Tampering with a Government Record, and Unlawful Carry of a Weapon. The passenger, Spencer Damon Tatum, 35 of Houston, was placed under arrest for an outstanding warrant for Burglary issued out of Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office Louisiana, Manufacture or Delivery of Controlled Substance, Possession Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Carry Weapon.

Then Sunday afternoon at 3:30, Officer Lauren Vieceli conducted a traffic stop at the 2100 block of Highway 290 West. The driver, Rebecca Ann Andrade, 28 of Houston, was found to have two active local traffic warrants. Andrade was placed under arrest and was transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Sunday night at 9:05, Officer Nicolas Conforti initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Simon Avenue and Booker Street. A probable cause search was conducted and Gorey Lee Ragston, 35 of Brenham, was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana and a Municipal Warrant
