THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED FRIDAY
Three people were arrested by Brenham Police Friday.
They report that Friday night at 9:00, Officers responded to the 1500 block of Simon Avenue for a reported disturbance. Investigation revealed Joe Willie Cole Sr., 53 of Brenham, assaulted a family member. He was arrested for Assault Family or Household Member by Impeding Breath or Circulation and transported Washington County Jail for booking.
Then Friday night at 10:35, Officers responded to the 1600 block of Highway 105 in reference to a welfare concern. Upon arrival, Officers located Aldonia Johnson, 57 of Brenham, and discerned she was highly intoxicated and laying in the middle of the roadway. Johnson was placed in custody for Public Intoxication and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
Then Friday night at 11:50, Officers responded to the 2900 block of Highway 36 South in reference to theft of service. Investigation revealed Dean Murdoch, 31 of San Diego, had ordered and eaten food at a local establishment and left the location failing to pay for his meal. Murdoch was also found to be intoxicated in a public place and was placed under arrest for Public Intoxication and Theft of Services and transported to the Washington County Jail.
