BOMB THREATS AT TEXAS A&M DEEMED NON-CREDIBLE
Two buildings on the Texas A&M campus resumed regular activities after being evacuated earlier this (Tuesday) morning due to what University Police have now deemed “non-credible” bomb threats.
Shortly after 10am, a Code Maroon alert was issued for the on-campus Academic Building and the Eller Oceanography and Meteorology (O&M) Building.
Both buildings were evacuated and then searched by police.
Around 11:20am, University Police deemed the buildings were safe, and allowed them to go back to business as usual.
According to the A&M Academic Calendar, there were no major activities scheduled for today (Tuesday).
Final exams and graduation ceremonies were held last week, and final grades had to be submitted by Monday at noon.
The only thing on the schedule was the start of the period where the undergraduates can change their curriculum.
