GRIMES COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE LOOKING FOR THEFT SUSPECTS

  

The Grimes County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding suspects that stole multiple tires from a local business.

According to a press release that was issued last week, the theft occurred sometime between Sunday night, November 5, and Monday morning, November 6, at Global Vaccum Systems, which is located at 15431 Highway 6 in Navasota.

The Sheriff’s Office says that 71 tires and wheels were stolen from nine company trucks during that time frame.

An estimate was acquired and the stolen property is valued at approximately $85,000.  

Grimes County Investigators say there were multiple suspects in the incident, who all seemed familiar with the property, and displayed tactics consistent with an organized criminal group.

The Montgomery County Auto Task Force and the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the case and seeking any leads.
