AUSTIN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE ADDS TWO DEPUTIES

The Austin County Sheriff’s Office did not have to look very far to fill two deputy openings.
The Sheriff’s Office announced the hirings this (Monday) afternoon of Stetson Whitley and Sacha Masson.
Whitley comes to Austin County from the Brenham Police Department where he had been working as a patrol officer.

Masson comes to the Sheriff’s Office after previously working for 20 years as a member of the Austin County EMS.
According to a press release, Masson decided to change careers, and then went to and graduated from the TEEX Police Academy. He accepted their offer of employment.
