THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED SATURDAY

  

Three people were arrested by Brenham police Saturday.

They report that Saturday afternoon at 4:55, Officers with the Brenham Police Department responded to a business located in the 200 block of Highway 290 West in reference to a theft. Investigation resulted in Deontae Tremarcus Franklin, 21 of Washington, being placed under arrest for Theft of Property between $100 and $750. Additionally, Jace Windale Powell, 17 of Houston, was arrested for Theft of Property between $100 and $750, Failure to Identify, and Possession of Controlled Substance. Both individuals were transported to the Washington county Jail where they were booked in. 

Then Saturday evening at 7:55, Officers responded to an address located in the 2600 block of Highway 36 South in reference to a disturbance. Initial Investigation revealed Jordan Lee Edwards, 23 of Bellville, was intoxicated in a public place and held three active municipal warrants. While in custody and in the back seat of a patrol unit, he damaged the interior by kicking the door multiple times. Edwards was additionally charged with Criminal Mischief between $750 and $2,500.
