BURTON BASKETBALL TEAMS BOTH WIN

The Burton Panthers and Lady Panthers won their respective games last (Tuesday) night on the basketball court.

The Burton Lady Panthers picked up a 63-32 district win over Snook.  Tiara Burns and Ciara Burns led the Lady Panthers with 17 points each. 

Adison Harmel was right behind them with 15 points.  Aerynn Huntsman came off the bench with eight points. 

The Burton Panthers picked up a 60-52 win over Leon last night at the Burton High School Gym in their last non-district game of the season. 

Eli Simank led the Panthers with 16 points. Tyrone Gilmon had 14 points. K.D. Patterson added 11 points.

Next up, the Burton Basketball Teams will host Somerville in a district doubleheader. The Girls will play at 6:15pm, followed by the Boys at 7:30pm.
