TWO CALLS TUESDAY FOR BRENHAM FIRE DEPT.

  

The Brenham Fire Department received two calls on Tuesday.

Shortly before 5:30 p.m., the department was dispatched to the 200 block of Barbee Street for a gas odor.  Brenham firefighters and the City of Brenham Gas Department arrived to check the area for a leak or smell.  After investigation, the fire department was released from the scene.

At 8:15 p.m., units were called to a crash without entrapment in the 800 block of West Main Street.  They found a two-vehicle crash with no injuries.  BFD members cleaned up debris and vehicle fluids that were leaking.  They stood by until wreckers removed both vehicles from the roadway.
