CUBETTE SOCCER FALLS SHORT IN TOURNAMENT OPENER

The Brenham Cubette Soccer Team lost a heartbreaker on opening day of the I-10 Shootout at Mayde Creek High School.

The Cubettes played Santa Fe to a 3-3 tie. Alayna Allen scored the first goal off of an assist from Denali Washington. Alyce Sheets then scored two goals to tie the match and send it to the shootout.

Santa Fe then won the shootout 5-4.

The Cubettes are now in the consolation bracket. They will next play Westbury this (Friday) morning at 10am.
