The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has named Moose as its Pet of the Week.
Moose is a one-year-old lab/dachshund mix who is house trained.
Brenham Animal Services says Moose absolutely loves humans and cuddling. He is extremely high energy and sociable, and while he does well with both genders of dogs, he prefers females in the home.
Moose has a chronic deformity in his front right shoulder and elbow. Brenham Animal Services says it causes a limp, but he is not in any pain and it does not slow him down at all.
