RT-C BASKETBALL TEAMS HAMMER BUCKHOLTS

The Round Top-Carmine Cub and Cubette Basketball Teams picked up a pair of dominating wins over Buckholts last (Wednesday) night.

GIRLS

The Round Top-Carmine Cubettes defeated Buckholts 58-31. The Cubettes jumped out to an early 19-6 lead after the first quarter, and never had to look back.

Kim Rohde led RTC with 20 points. Jill Eilers chipped in with 11 points. Kennedy Flinn finished with eight points.

The win improved the Cubettes to 6-4 overall and 6-1 in district play.

BOYS

The Round Top-Carmine Cubs crushed Buckholts 81-27. The Cubs outscored Buckholts 29-11 in the first quarter, and then shut them out 27-0 in the second quarter en route to a dominant win.

Tanner Schobel led RTC with 22 points. Cash Robertson was right behind him with 20 points. Meanwhile, Kash Wessels added 14 points.

Next Games: The Cubs and Cubettes will travel to Calvert for a doubleheader on Friday.
