WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS TO HEAR ANNUAL REPORTS

  

Several year-end recaps will come before Washington County Commissioners on Tuesday.

The court will hear monthly and annual reports from the sheriff’s office, county and district clerks, justices of the peace, auditor, tax assessor-collector, treasurer, constables, elections and veterans service officer.

Commissioners will also consider an engagement letter from Belt Harris Pechacek, LLLP to provide auditing services to Washington County for the years ending 2023, 2024 and 2025.  At their previous meeting, commissioners selected the firm and authorized the county auditor to enter negotiations for terms, cost and audit service details.

In addition, the court will potentially approve a revised investment policy for the county and an extension of time to use vacation hours for Veterans Service Officer Eric Posern.

Commissioners will meet Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the Washington County Courthouse.
