TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED FRIDAY

  

Two people were arrested by the Brenham Police Department Friday.

They report that Friday morning at 6:15, Sergeant Sierra Randle responded to the Washington County Jail to serve a warrant on Oscar Gerald Sparkman, 57 of Sealy. Sparkman had an outstanding Indictment or Warrant for his arrest for Stalking issued by the 21st Judicial District Court of Washington County.

Then Friday night at 11:00, Officer Bryan Morong initiated a traffic stop in the 2200 block of South Market Street for a traffic violation. Investigation revealed the driver, Jacob Castro, 48 of Brenham, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. He was transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked in.
