BLINN MEN FALL TO COASTAL BEND AT HOME 79-71

The Blinn Buccaneer Men's Basketball Team was unable to overcome an early deficit as they lost to the Coastal Bend Cougars 79-71 last (Wednesday) night.

Coastal Bend jumped out to the early lead and were up 38-28 at halftime.

In the early part of the second half, the Cougars managed to get the lead up to 18 points. However, Blinn battled back and were able to get it down to a six point deficit.

Blinn outscored Coastal Bend 43-41 in the second half.

Anthony Isaac led the Bucs with 20 points. Patrick Neal was second on the team with 15 points. Reese Miller came off the bench with 11 points. Masiah Gilyard added 10 points.

Coastal Bend's Jeremiah Anderson led all individual scorers with 23 points.

The loss drops the Bucs to 13-6 overall and 4-4 in conference play. Next up, they will travel to Victoria College on Saturday night to take on the Pirates at 7:30pm.
