THREE CALLS WEDNESDAY FOR BRENHAM FIRE DEPT.

  

The Brenham Fire Department responded to three calls on Wednesday.

Shortly before 12:45 p.m., the department went out to a home in the 2400 block of Lynne Way for a fire alarm.  Firefighters were advised by the homeowner upon arrival that construction set off the alarm system.

Nearing 2:45 p.m., units received a report of another fire alarm at Longwood Elastomers, 1901 Longwood Drive.  The department discovered that water was leaking on the alarm panel, causing it to sound.

Around 9:30 p.m., BFD members responded to a crash at the Highway 290 cloverleaf.  Units made location to find a one-vehicle accident with no injuries.  They secured the scene until the crash site was cleared up.
