WARRANT ARREST MADE ON BRENHAM WOMAN

A Brenham woman was arrested Wednesday on an outstanding warrant. Brenham Police report that Wednesday morning at 7:00, Officer Stephen Mosley conducted a traffic stop at the 1300 block of Prairie Lea Street. Investigation revealed the driver, Leah Monique Ward, 31 of Brenham, had an active warrant for her arrest; Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility (No Insurance) issued by Washington Count JP Pct. 1. Ward was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail, where she was booked in for her warrant.

I am so upset to see this article. This is one of my former elementary school students whom I just loved and who was a beautiful girl inside and out. Comes from a wonderful family. I hope this all gets cleared up for everyone’s sake as soon as possible ! As a retired teacher, I always try to follow my students path in life, when I can. Take care Leah and family!!
