WASHINGTON CO. CHAMBER/BRENHAM EDF BANQUET THURSDAY

  

The Washington County Chamber of Commerce and Brenham Economic Development Foundation (EDF) are set to hold their annual awards banquet tonight (Thursday).

The banquet begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Fireman’s Training Center in Brenham.  There will be a social hour followed by dinner, a guest speaker and the awards program.

Dr. Frank B. Ashley III will be the featured speaker.  Dr. Ashley is acting dean of the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University.

The Chamber will also announce its 2023 recipients of the Man and Woman of the Year, Business of the Year, Small Business of the Year, New Business of the Year and Nonprofit of the Year.

The Chamber and EDF will recognize outgoing members of their boards of directors.  In addition, the Chamber will name its Board Member of the Year and Blue Blazer of the Year.
