BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED ON WARRANT

A Brenham man was arrested early Wednesday morning on an active warrant.
Brenham Police report that early Wednesday morning at 1:05, Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Highway 290 West concerning a report of a suspicious person. Anthony Wayne Contee, 41 of Brenham, was placed under arrest for a warrant for Failure to Appear, Assaulting a Family or Household Member by Impeding Breath or Circulation issued by the 21st District Court of Washington County. Contee was transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked in.
