RT-C DEFEATS FAYETTEVILLE TO WIN DISTRICT TITLE
The Round Top-Carmine Cubette Basketball Team defeated Fayetteville 53-49 last (Tuesday) night to captured the District 29-A Championship.
RT-C was led by Tess Eilers, who finished with 16 points. Meanwhile, Mallory Krause and Jill Eilers had 12 points each.
The Cubettes finished district with an 11-1 record.
They have tentatively scheduled their Bi-District game against Prairie Lea for Monday night at 8pm in Schulenburg.
