ONE PERSON ARRESTED SUNDAY

One person was arrested by Brenham Police Sunday.
They report that early Sunday morning at 1:15, Sergeant Jimmy Ha initiated a traffic stop near the 700 block of South Chappell Hill Street. An investigation was conducted, and the driver Kevon Mathis, 24 of Brenham, was taken into custody for three active municipal warrants and Driving While Intoxicated with an Open Alcohol Container.
