TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED SATURDAY

  

Two people were arrested Saturday by the Brenham Police Department.

They report that Saturday morning at 10:40, Cpl. Jose Perez, observed a wanted subject, Justice Bennett, 27 of Brenham, traveling in the 700 block of Pleasant View Ave. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle and once the warrant was confirmed, Bennett was placed in custody for a motion to revoke probation warrant and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.

Then Saturday night at 9:20, Officer Vieceli conducted a traffic stop at the 1800 block Highway 105. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Dakota Ryan Peikert, 18 of Cypress. An investigation was conducted at the scene. Peikert was placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence-Minor and was transported to the Washington County Jail.
