BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED TUESDAY

  

A Brenham man was arrested early Tuesday by the Brenham Police Department.

They report that just after midnight Tuesday at 12:05, Officer Garrett Downs was conducting a close patrol in the Pleasant View and Parkview Street area due to multiple narcotic complaints in the area. A suspicious vehicle was observed parked in the cul-de-sac. The driver, Christopher Jamal Smith, 38 of Brenham, was found to be in possession of marijuana and to have three active warrants. Smith was then transported to the Washington County Jail and booked in for his three warrants and possession of marijuana less than 2 oz.
