CUBETTE POWERLIFTING PLACES 3RD IN BVPL MEET

The Brenham Cubette Powerlifting Team placed third in the latest Brazos Valley Powerlifting League Meet that was held yesterday (Monday) at Brenham High School.

Kaleigh Daniels placed first in the 132lb. weight class with a combined lift of 655 pounds, while Hadley Hughes placed fifth in the division with a combined lift of 455 lbs.

Camilla Rodriguez came in third place in the 148lb. weight class with a combined lift of 545 pounds. In addition to that, Miley Mendoza finished second in the 181lb. weight class with a combined lift also of 545 pounds, and Khaliah Jeffrey finished sixth in the 242lb. weight class with a combined lift of 570 pounds.

Next up, is the THSWPA Region 2 Meet on March 1 in Elgin. According to Head Coach Ryan Jones, they should find out over the weekend which lifters will get to participate.
