ROUND TOP-CARMINE OPENS WITH A BI-DISTRICT WIN OVER PRAIRIE LEA

The Round Top-Carmine Cubettes got the playoffs off to a great start with a 52-32 win over Prairie Lea in the Bi-District round.

Prairie Lea actually jumped out to an early 11-4 lead after the first quarter. However, RT-C would battle back and win the final three quarters 18-8, 17-5, and 13-8 to get the victory.

Jill Eilers led the way with 12 points. Tess Eilers and Jaylen Bage added 10 points each. Mallory Krause and Kennedy Flinn chipped in with nine points each.

Next up, the Cubettes will take on Nueces Canyon in the Area Round of the playoffs. The opening tipoff is scheduled for 6pm at Seguin High School.
