BRENHAM ISD STUDENT HONORED BY ELKS LODGE
A Brenham High School student that is a member of the Marine Corp Junior ROTC has been honored by the Brenham Elks Lodge.
Lia Otero was honored for “upholding exemplary standards of leadership and American values as a member of the MCJROTC.”

Otero serves as command officer for the Battalion Staff.
Brenham ISD called Otero’s recognition “a testament to her outstanding efforts” and that they take great pride in celebrating her achievements.
The MCJROTC recently took home top honors at the Regional Drill Meet in Bryan.
They are making their eighth consecutive trip to nationals on April 10 in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
