OVER 1,000 EARLY VOTERS THROUGH TWO DAYS

  

Early voting in the March 5th primary has brought in over 1,000 people in just two days.

Washington County Elections Administrator Carol Jackson reports 474 people came to the courthouse annex on Wednesday, including 440 Republicans and 34 Democrats.

So far, there have been 1,019 early voters, made up of 935 Republicans and 84 Democrats. 

Comparing to the March 2020 primary, the first two days of early voting had 519 participants.  It took until the fourth day to surpass 1,000 voters. 

Early voting continues today (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and February 26 – March 1 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
