EARLY VOTING TOPS 2,000 IN FOUR DAYS

  

Weekend early voting has begun for the March 5th primary election, and turnout so far is already over half of the entirety of the 2020 primary. 

According to Washington County Elections Administrator Carol Jackson, 547 Republicans and 42 Democrats made their way over to the courthouse annex on Friday, for a count of 589 voters.

From Tuesday to Friday, there were 2,069 early voters, including 1,917 Republicans and 152 Democrats. 

The 2020 primary election drew 3,479 early voters in total.  There are still seven days left of early voting in the current primary. 

The courthouse annex is open today (Saturday) from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., tomorrow (Sunday) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Just a suggestion get a sample ballot and do some research on the candidates because some of them were unknown to me but as it turned out several were not at all good for our Texas and several were already in office looking for another shot a destructive decisions for our State. So please make every vote count. It is an out right shame when judges become political activists.
