CUBETTE GOLF WINS BRENHAM TOURNAMENT

The Brenham Cubette Golf Team beat out 13 other teams ranging from 3A to 6A earlier today (Monday) to win the Brenham Tournament. The tournament was held out at the Brenham Country Club.

As a team, the Cubettes were first overall with a score of 348. They finished 12 shots ahead of second Katy Seven Lakes.

Addie Bogan was the top individual finisher for Brenham. She placed second overall with a score of 78. The top finisher was Leah Torres of Kingwood Park with a 73.

Sofia Workman tied for fifth place overall with an 85.

Other individual scores for Brenham were:

Kaylin Bogan - 91 (tied for 16th)

Addison Schramme - 94 (tied for 25th)

Codi Clark - 100 (tied for 35th)

Brenham also had two individual medalists participate in the tournament. Lindsey Anderson shot a 98 (tied for 32nd), and Georgia Carroll finished with a 104 (tied for 43rd).

A total of 160 golfers participated in the event.

Next up, the Cubettes will be participating in the Waller Tournament on Tuesday, March 5.
