FIVE PEOPLE ARRESTED EARLY MONDAY

Five people were arrested early Monday morning.

Brenham Police report that early Monday morning at 12:20, Officer Nicolas Conforti conducted a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Prairie Lea Street. The driver of the vehicle, Pedro Ousbaldo Gamboa, 26 of Brenham, was found to have an active warrant for Bond Forfeiture. He was placed under arrest and booked in at the Washington County Jail.

Then at 12:25, Officer Garrett Downs conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation. Upon further investigation, the driver Jamiyah Fields, 17 of Brenham, the front seat passenger Briyanna Searcy, 17 of Brenham, and both back seat passenger’s Kylen Lynell Steen, 19 of Bryan, and Trevin Bell, 17 of Bryan, were all placed in custody for Theft of a Firearm.  All individuals were transported to the Washington County Jail where they were booked in.
