TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED SATURDAY

  

Two people were arrested Saturday in separate incidences.

Brenham Police report that early Saturday morning at 1:30, Officers responded to the 2400 block of South Chappell Hill Street in reference to a disturbance. Officers located one of the persons involved, Linda Johnson, 36 of Brenham, in the parking lot and was heavily Intoxicated. Johnson was placed in custody for Public Intoxication and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Saturday night at 11:30, Officers responded to the 600 block of North Market Street in reference to a crash. Upon arrival, investigation revealed the driver was highly intoxicated. Robert Witt, 69 of Brenham, was placed in custody for Driving While Intoxicated, 3 or More offences and for Failure to Comply with Duties Upon Striking a Fixed Object. Witt was transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
