HEMPSTEAD MAN ARRESTED EARLY WEDNESDAY

  

A Hempstead man was arrested early Wednesday for public intoxication.

Brenham Police report that early Wednesday morning at 12:35, Officers conducted a bar check in the 500 block of 290 West. Investigation revealed Bennie Hooper, 27 of Hempstead, was intoxicated in a public place. Hooper was taken into custody for Public Intoxication and transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked in.
