GAS PRICES UP FOR SPRING BREAK

Drivers hitting the road for Spring Break will have to contend with higher prices at the pump.

Examining prices in the state’s metropolitan areas, drivers in El Paso are paying the most on average at $3.19 per gallon, while drivers in San Antonio are spending the least at $2.84.

Across the country, the national average price per gallon of regular unleaded fuel is $3.39, up 6 cents from last week and up 23 cents from last month.  The price is still 7 cents less than at this point a year ago.
