WASHINGTON CO. COMMISSIONERS TO DISCUSS ELECTION RESULTS

Washington County Commissioners have a short list of items awaiting them at their next meeting on Tuesday.

First, the court will hear a presentation from Elections Administrator Carol Jackson regarding the results of the March 5th primary election.

The court will then act on a final plat for Porch Swing Plantation, consisting of 15 lots along Old Phillipsburg Road and Schroeder Road in Precinct 2.

Following that, commissioners will consider placing Winding Branch, Hidden Trail, Vista Place, Valley View Court, and Pecan Grove Court into the county’s one-year maintenance period.  The roads are located in the Washington Heights at Chappell Hill subdivision in Precinct 2.

The last major action item will be the potential awarding of a contract to Vacha Services, LLC to construct an equipment shed for the Engineering and Development Services Department.

Commissioners will meet Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the Washington County Courthouse.
