TWO BRENHAM MEN ARRESTED SATURDAY

  

Two Brenham men were booked into jail after separate arrests by Brenham police Saturday night.

Around 8:15 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Highway 290 West in reference to a complaint.  Investigation revealed that 41-year-old Dustin Thompson was intoxicated in a public place.  Thompson was taken into custody for Public Intoxication and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Just before 11:30 p.m., Officer Stephen Mosley stopped a vehicle in the 600 block of South Market Street.  After investigation, it was found that the vehicle’s passenger, 21-year-old Dontravious Groom, was in possession of marijuana.  Groom was charged with Possession of Marijuana under 2oz. and taken to the Washington County Jail.
