ONE PERSON ARRESTED EARLY WEDNESDAY

One person was arrested early Wednesday after they resisted.
Brenham Police report that early Wednesday at 1:15, Officer Lauren Vieceli conducted a traffic stop at the 600 block of East Academy Street. A probable cause search was conducted on the vehicle. The driver, Chance Emerson Ford Pete, 19 of Georgetown, resisted arrest when he was being placed under arrest for Possession Controlled Substance and Possession of Tobacco by a Minor. Pete was additionally charged with Resisting Arrest, Search or Transport.
