FIVE PEOPLE PLED GUILTY IN DISTRICT COURT
Five people pled guilty in District Court this week and were sentenced by Judge Reva Towslee Corbett.
Juan Eduardo Avalos, 32 of Brenham, was sentenced to 3 years in prison for Driving While Intoxicated, 3 or More Convictions.
Edward Wayne Daniels, 25 of Brenham, was sentenced to 10 years deferred adjudication probation for Deadly Conduct, Discharge of a Firearm. He was also ordered to pay a $1000 fine, perform 150 hours of community service, and have no contact with the victims.
Andre Jeroy Robinson, Jr., 31of Houston, was sentenced to 3 years’ probation for Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine.
Xavier Kion Simms, 20 of Houston, was sentenced to 4 years deferred adjudication probation for Unlawful Carrying a Weapon in a Prohibited Place. He was also ordered to pay a $500 fine, and perform 100 hours of community service.
Amy Lou Ambriz, 46 of Brenham, was sentenced to 3 years deferred adjudication for Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility. She was also ordered to pay a $750 fine, and perform 150 hours community service. She was also convicted of Possession of a Controlled Substance and given time served in the Washington County Jail on that charge.
