AREA POWER LIFTERS COMPETE AT STATE MEET

Power Lifters from Burton, La Grange, Bellville, and Navasota had top ten finishes at the Texas High School Power Lifting Association State Meet this past Saturday in Abilene.

Burton’s Mark Odom finished 6^th in the 132 lb. division with a combined lift of 1,050 pounds. He had a 405-pound, squat a 225-pound bench press, and a 420-pound dead lift.

Burton's Keagan Fenner finished 8^th in the 242 pound division with a combined lift of 1,500 pounds. He had a 545-pound squat, a 295-pound bench press, and a 660-pound dead lift.

Other local competitors included:

Cody Krupala of La Grange, who finished 4^th in the 123 lb. weight class with a combined lift of 975 pounds (375/250/350)

Cory Richardson of Bellville, who finished 4th in the 220 lb. weight class with a combined lift of 1,680 pounds. (655/420/605)
