BRENHAM FFA MEMBERS EXCEL AT RODEO HOUSTON

Brenham FFA students got the chance to showcase their talents and skills at the Rodeo Houston competitions.

FFA Members took part in various contests demonstrating their dedication and hard work.

For the Nursery Landscape Contest, the team secured a 6th place finish, with Talyn Perez earning recognition as the 20th high individual.

In the Wool Contest, Brenham FFA achieved an 8th place finish, with Logan Fatheree was the 10th high individual.

For Livestock Judging, the team placed 10th overall, with Mckenzie Tiemann earning a scramble calf certificate for the purchase of a new heifer to show next year.

In Dairy Judging, Brenham FFA placed 25th overall, with Samantha Mahlmann also earning a scramble calf certificate.

Other events that the team placed included 15th for Horse Judging, and 21st for Wildlife.

In addition to that, students participated in Poultry Evaluation, Public Speaking, and Floral Design.

CTE Director Travis Gonzales said that their students and sponsors have dedicated countless hours of hard work and preparation to excel in the competitions.

He added that they are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and how they have represented their program and the school district.
