THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED LAST THURSDAY

  

Three people were arrested by the Brenham Police Department last Thursday.

They report that Thursday morning at 9:00, Officers responded to the 2200 block of Highway 290 East in reference to a wanted person. Upon arrival, the wanted individual Eric Derrow, 23 of Somerville, was taken into custody for multiple active warrants; Possession Marijuana between 4oz and 5lbs., Possession of a Controlled Substance issued out of College Station P.D., Motion to Revoke Probation- Burglary of a Building issued out of Brazos County, and Speeding issued out of Washington County.

Then Thursday afternoon at 2:50, Sergeant Jimmy Ha initiated a traffic stop near the 1900 block of Highway 290 West. The driver, Ariel Adolpho Mendez, 26 of Houston, was taken into custody for two counts Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana between 4 OZ and 5 Lbs.

Then Thursday night at 10:10, Officer Nicolas Conforti conducted a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Highway 290 West. A probable cause search led to the arrest of the passenger, Valeria Margot Perez, 28 of Houston, for possession of narcotics. Perez was transported to the Washington County Jail and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession Marijuana less than 2 oz.
