THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED SATURDAY

  

Three people were arrested by the Brenham Police Department on Saturday.

They report that Saturday afternoon at 3:30, Officer Garrett Downs conducted a traffic stop at the 1700 block of Highway 290 on a vehicle for a vehicle violation. The driver, Luis Juarez, 24 of Brenham, was discovered to have two active warrants for No driver’s license. Juarez was then placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Saturday night at 8:30, Sergeant Sierra Randle conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of South Austin Street on a vehicle for a traffic violation. Investigation revealed the driver, Benjamin Berger, 26 of Brenham, showed to have an active warrant for Use of a Portable Wireless Communication Device. Berger was then taken into custody at that time and booked in at the Washington County Jail without incident.

Then Saturday night at 9:10, Seargeant Sierra Randle conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Independence Street and East Blue Bell Road on a vehicle for a traffic violation. Investigation revealed the passenger, McKenney Kaylin Kelley, 24 of Brenham, was taken into custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. Kelley was booked into the Washington County Jail.
