BRENHAM HERITAGE MUSEUM HOLDS INAUGURAL ‘MAHJONG AT THE MUSEUM’
The Brenham Heritage Museum hosted the first edition of a new fundraiser on Tuesday.

“Mahjong at the Museum” treated guests to Mahjong games for players of all skill levels. There were also drawings for prizes like Mahjong playing cards, gift certificates and designer tote bags.
Museum officials say there were about 80 attendees and 20 tables in total. Community sponsors for the event were Glamfetti, Hermann Furniture and Tres Chic Boutique.
Proceeds from the event will support the museum as it adds new exhibits and programs.
The museum says a good time was had by all, and it looks forward to holding the event again next spring.
