TWO ARRESTED IN BRENHAM ON WARRANTS

  

Brenham police made a pair of warrant arrests on Wednesday.

Just past 7:45 a.m., Sgt. Sierra Randle stopped a vehicle at the intersection of North Park Street and Emile Street for a traffic violation.  Investigation revealed that the driver, 28-year-old Alexis Sandoval of Brenham, had two confirmed active warrants for Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility and No Driver’s License.  Sandoval was taken into custody for the warrants and issued four citations.

At 11:15 p.m., Officer Garrett Downs conducted a traffic stop in the 2800 block of Highway 290 West for a vehicle violation.  Upon further investigation, the driver, 44-year-old Nicholas Martin of Austin, showed to have an active warrant for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Martin was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
