COLLEGE STATION MARGARITA FESTIVAL SUNDAY

  

Century Square in College Station will play host this weekend to the College Station Margarita Festival, presented by KTEX-106 and powered by Patron Tequila.

From noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday, visitors will get to try over 10 samples of margaritas from local bars and restaurants.  There will also be a live DJ, street tacos, food trucks, a beer garden, and a drawing to win an all-inclusive trip to Mexico.

Guests can drop voting chips into a jar for their favorite margarita.  Whoever holds the jar with the most chips gets crowned the best margarita in College Station and wins $1,000.

A portion of the proceeds from the event go to the Alexiam Foundation, benefitting children’s charities.
